Been too long...

So I haven't really take any pictures I really like. I do have one photo that I took during a July 4 celebration in Utopia, Texas. It looks kinda like the apocalypse. I was playing with the zoom and shutter speed when I got it.

Gavin At the Park

FINALLY. This is the kind of picture I have always wanted to take of someone. It's not perfect, but I like it very much. Gavin pops off the page and he is givin' me the goods. Portrait-like. I have taken a lot of pictures of a lot of things and this is top 5. Very pleased with my self. :)

Jumpin' Rope

Gavin got a jump rope at school today and he was showing me his skillz :)

Here's a Halloween picture from the front of my house. I made two jack-o-lanterns with the boys and this is how they turned out. I was really happy with the photo because I was playing with the shutter speed and aperture settings.

Summer Boogie Boarding

Ahh, hell.

I'm want to post one of my favorite pictures of Connor. We were at Balboa Beach in So Cal and he was learning how to boogie board. We had fun, I burned my ass and got this shot of the chief.

Why'd I do this...

I'm not quite sure why I setup this blog. I suppose I'll have something to say at some point. More importantly though, I want to be able to post my favorite pics in one place, instead of setting up a Facebook photo album. This is the place where I'll highlight the shots I am most proud of for whatever reason that may be. I'll start posting tomorrow.
